In "Gifts of Time And Love," Miles really blew his mission to have Dan and Charlotte remember each other. Now he's got five days to bring the couple together, or he, Dan, and Charlotte will lose their chance to move on. Obviously, Naomi is not pleased!

We Were Kids Then...

Benjamin Linus, Blair Wilson, and Josh Greene weren't always Others. The three grew up together in the Dharma Initiative, as we discovered in Chapter 12. Blair and Benjamin, along with Annie, were best friends, while Josh was a bully who targeted Ben and Annie. All that changed, however, when the hostiles viciously attacked the Dharma compound. In the ensuing battle, Blair's father and Annie were killed, while Blair and Ben saved Josh's life. The event sealed a life long friendship between the three. And although they may question each other's motives sometimes, there is no friendship stronger among the Others.

Rock and Roll Star

Brad Donegan's trip to Australia wasn't exactly one he wanted to take. When his ex-wife Arianna attempted suicide, he was forced to take on the responsibility of caring for the son he abandoned, Christopher. On top of that, on the trip, he ran into Arianna's younger brother, Shawn Davenport. Once upon a time he'd been Shawn's hero, but the teen now blames Brad for his sister's downfall. Add on top of that a mysterious set of dreams, a strange prophecy from Richard Malkin, and learning how to be a father while resisting the temptation to rekindle his drug problem, Brad certainly has his hands full on the island.

The Curse of the Seven Scorpions

Ok, not exactly AWNTS related... but procrastination from a frightening to do list (and believe me, if you saw my to do list, you would cry!) has led to a banner for one of my old stories from the Mummy fandom, The Curse of the Seven Scorpions. Not sure if anyone here would have read it, but it was my first chaptered story on FF.net, and my first major undertaking. Felt a bit inspired reading back through it tonight, and this was the result!

Also, for my AWNTS readers, I got some writing done this weekend. Not much, but a bit toward the next chapter!

Like Father, Like Daughter

When Natalie Black-Warner boarded Oceanic Flight 815 in Sydney, she had one target in mind. That target was revealed in her Chapter 4 flashback: Jack Shepard, her father who never knew she was born. Adopted at a young age, the 14 year old spent time in and out of Ana Lucia Cortez's LA precinct as she acted out and tried to find out her real parents. On the island, only Hurley knows her secret. Will Jack ever find out his little girl is on the island?

In The Lion's Den

Luck has not been on Alice Evan's or Kate Austen's side since the plane crash. Alice was captured by the Other's her first night on the beach from the tail section. Kate was captured when she stumbled upon Jason King passing on information to Blair and Joshua during the hike to find a radio signal.

Cut off from the other survivors, Alice and Kate are trying to find a way to escape, with a little help from Eric Rom. But there are plenty of roadblocks, including Kate being trapped in a polar bear cage and Alice's watchful roommate Senna.

Will these two women find a way to escape the Others and get back to their camps? And will they be involved in Claire's eventual escape from the Other's as well?

Phil's a lucky guy...

"And smart man, he knows it!" Thus spoke Azure Lemming, one of the women of the Dharma Initiative, when she revealed her engagement to everyone's least favorite Dharma security guard, Phil. How did the who of them meet, and more importantly, why would a normal, sweet girl fall for someone like Phil? Only time will tell!

Lalah Wilson-Mqwebu

Lalah Wilson-Mqwebu is one of my favorite characters in AWNTS to write, and has become, I think, a favorite among readers. She's definitely the level headed one of the group, the dose of common sense I think the viewers wanted to give the castaways. In the real world, she was a business woman, married to her wife Nandi Mqwebu, with three children. After a fight with her wife in Australia, she boarded flight 815 to go home and be with her children.

Lalah's time on the island has been hard since the discovery of her wife's passport among the dead. She believes herself to be a widow, but attempts to remain strong for the other passengers. Among the survivors she's become a mother figure and trusted by the others, and her friendship with Jay Langdon is one of the strongest on the island. Well, that was, until she discovered a gun among his belongings.

In the upcoming chapter, Lalah will be joining Iris and Nikki on her first trek into the jungle, heading back, once again, to the cockpit of the plane. 

Nikki and Boone: Before I Get A Chance

Nikki Mosley crashed on the island jaded from a previous experience with an abusive boyfriend Jayce, only to be rescued from drowning by Boone Carlysle. Since then, their friendship has grown into an on and off relationship marked by more downs than ups.

One of their finer moments, however, came in Chapter 11, when Sawyer demanded Nikki kiss him in exchange for Shannon's inhalers that he claimed to have. Nikki agreed, but Boone was not going to let his opportunity with Nikki pass him by...

The Other Teens

One of the more interesting story lines, and one of the most fun to write, in AWNTS is the never-ending drama that surrounds the life of the teenagers in New Otherton. Despite their varying opinions of living on the island and the ever-increasing dangers they face, they're still normal kids, with ridiculous amounts of romantic, parent, and life drama. Add in one leader that some would trust with their life, and others wouldn't, you've got a recipe for trouble. But in all this, there's one thing they know they can count on- each other.

An Other, that is.

Seventeen year old Mia Prince learned that lesson the hard way in Chapter 12. A loner, she pushed away most of the fuselage camp. However, Mia came to trust Goodwin Stanhope. Unfortunately for her, Ben's spy had gone rogue, and used her to get the children of the camp, as well as Claire, away to a spot where he could kidnap them. When Mia helped to free Chris Donegan, she soon learned what happens when you put trust the wrong person...

The Forthcoming Chapter...

So for all of you, I'm starting with a bit of a preview/spoiler for the upcoming chapter.

Iris Palmer hasn't been a main character since the beginning. She emerged from the survivors rather notably, after an unexpected encounter with a very naked Sawyer on the beach. At 25, she's been travelling the world for several years. She got on Flight 815, expecting to grab a connecting flight to Honolulu from LAX, once again avoiding going back home.  But why- or because of whom- has she been avoiding going home?

Hey everyone!

So school has kicked into full gear, unfortunately giving me little time for writing. There's an upcoming chapter for AWNTS coming, I promise! It's all planned out, just requires time to sit and actually write!

I decided to create this blog after seeing the remarkable work that Elyad has put together on her's. All credit for this idea goes to her. For me, it gives me a bit of a creative outlet to keep the story going while I'm on school induced hiatus. But it also gives you a chance to get recapped, get some spoilers, and see your characters come to life.

Most of the characters were submitted to me without an actor, so I'm adding actors as I imagine them. If you have a particular one, feel free to comment here, or message back on FF.net.
